HELP PROTECT THE VALLEY

Updated 5-30-2025

Protect the Valley—Stop the Alamo Pintado Sewer Pipeline

A proposed sewer pipeline from Los Olivos to Solvang could permanently alter the Santa Ynez Valley. The Los Olivos Community Services District (LOCSD) is considering a project that would run sewer infrastructure down Alamo Pintado Road, opening the door for future hookups, dense development, and the loss of rural character along this protected agricultural corridor.

This plan violates the Santa Ynez Valley Community Plan, which prohibits urban infrastructure through farmland to preserve the Valley’s distinct communities and open space.

🛑 Let’s fix Los Olivos’ wastewater issues—without risking the future of the entire Valley.
